We are happy to announce a new feature called the Creator Profile page that will give you more ways to interact with your fans.

What to expect for CANVAS creators

• ​Profile Page
- Make the most of your Profile Page! You will be able to upload a profile picture of your choice, a short bio, social media links, your website, and more.

• ​How to Write a Post
- Connect with your readers and keep them updated on your series with posts and status updates from your profile page.
- Your readers will be able to respond to your posts through a selection of emojis.
- Future features to the Creator Profile will include commenting, voting, adding images, and external links.

• ​How to Create your page
- Already a CANVAS creator? Easy! A Creator Profile page for your account will be automatically available in March if you have a published series on CANVAS.
- New CANVAS Creators will have access to their Creator Profile when they have successfully published their series on CANVAS.

What to expect for ORIGINALS Creators

Interested ORIGINALS Creators will receive guidance from the WEBTOON team creating a Creator Profile page. Please check your email for more information about this update, as well as other important creator announcements!

We also wanted to let you know that we will be updating our Terms of Use and Community Policy, effective 14 March 2022. Below is a brief summary of the changes, however, we encourage you to review each terms in full: 

• ​Some definitions and terms related to content moderation, violation of policy have been updated due to the release of a new feature

• ​Increased clarity of content guidelines and rights regarding user postings

• ​Updated guidelines regarding abusive and dangerous content

• ​Updated contact information for DMCA notices

• ​Other updates for better clarity

Continued use of our service on or after the effective date constitutes your agreement to our Terms of Use and Community Policy.

To our CANVAS creator community: ​

In November, we announced that we will be releasing new updates to our comment system. Now you can remove inappropriate comments from your series and block abusive users that break our Community Policy.

To use this new feature, go to the inappropriate comment on your episode and select more ⁝ . From there you may select Delete to delete the comment or Block to block the user from commenting on that specific series again.

The list of users you've blocked will be available to view in DASHBOARD > Episode Management > Blocked users on our desktop website.

You can still enable/disable the comment section for each of your episodes from DASHBOARD > Edit or Add Episode, and report inappropriate comments by selecting Report next to the comment.
